About the Book

#NEScode is a journal about a collection of quotes that I have come up with as well as “codes” for life, love, relationships, and self-love. For over a decade, I have shared my advice and sometimes witty and funny slogans with my close friends and family and my social media following that I have affectionately called “NEScode”. Because of the response I have received over the years from my words of wisdom, I’ve decided to write them all down (the quotes and codes that I remembered), put them in a book, and share them with the world mimicking a journal. I greatly hope you all love this collection! I hope this book makes you laugh, smile, think, and feel empowered. About the Author

Vanessa “Nes” Hammonds is a Newark, New Jersey native and a mother of five born in July of 1988. Always known for her sound advice, dependability, funny sense of humor, and mothering technique. Nes has two degrees, both in psychology, is a certified event and wedding planner, has numerous certifications in a vast amount of subjects including family engagement from Harvard University and is still a full-time student working towards another degree. Nes currently works at Bristol Jr/High school in Bristol, PA and has been in the education field for over ten years and enjoys working with children and families. She is never shy to work hard and tell everyone about the goodness of Christ. She has a no-nonsense attitude toward excuses, and she goes after every goal she has set her mind to. An inspiration to many, Nes has decided to gather most of her “#NEScodes” and quotes and put them in a book as a collective.
