Yet Alone

Butch slapped Diane across the face shouting, "Tell him that I didn't steal that money!" Butch then landed a right cross to Diane's jaw, sending her stumbling backward. Diane wiped the blood from her lip and shouted, "I will not lie! You stole that money and should own up to it!" Butch picked Diane up by her throat, saying through clenched teeth, "I said tell my boss that I did not steal that money." "No, I won't," stated Diane firmly. Butch threw Diane on the floor and rolled against the couch. He gently helped Diane to her feet, saying, "I am sorry I threw you like that. I meant to do this," and belted Diane in her stomach as hard as he could. A beaten and battered Diane fell to her knees, gasping for air as she held her stomach, determined not to give in.
