About the Author

Born in1933 in Prague, he became a swimmer, then in
Prague Charles University he received MD and in Academy of Science PhD. After Russian’s Invasion of Czechoslovakia in August 1968 he moved to Minnesota with his wife Sasha a son Vojta in October; Tereza was born nine months later. He became Professor of medical genetics in the University, and writer.
