About the Book

The Monster Show is the first children’s book published by career consultant Susan K. Maciak. This illustrated storybook inspires preschoolers and elementary school children to expand their interests and imaginations. To go with her book, Maciak has produced a line of stuffed toys dubbed DreamMonsters. Each DreamMonster depicts different childhood interests and career dreams. About the Author

Maciak was named an “Innovator to Watch” by Michigan Gov. John Engler. She earned the award for developing comprehensive, creative career programs that influenced thousands of high school and college students of diverse academic, cultural and economic backgrounds. Maciak has also been recognized for her work in school public relations, including projects she developed for the Michigan Association of School Boards.
