About the Book

The animals in these stories are like children. By relating to the animals, young readers will learn their types, their sounds, their foods as well as the foods they produce. These stories teach that kindness and respect are necessary to the friendships of both animals and children. These stories are intended to teach children about various animals, the sounds they make and the foods they eat. Children will also learn the foods that some of these animals produce for them. Through these stories, children will realize that animals form friendships and play, just as they do. Especially important is that the young audience will learn that kindness and respect should be shown to each other and to animals.

About the Author

I was born March 13, 1936 in Berlin, New York, in a home that is now the Berlin Library. I attended and graduated from the school my father helped build. For 25 years I was owner and manager of rental properties in New York State and Massachusetts, a licensed realtor and former member of the New York State Board of Realtors. I was a Notary Public, legal secretary and a federal and state government employee. Now disabled, my hobbies are painting, writing stories, lyrics and poetry, sculpting and needlework. I am a member of the Taconic Valley Historical Society.
