About the Book

This book provides a whimsical treatment of light-speed and travel vanishingly small increments beyond the speed of light but which are so small that non-locality and causality issues are avoided thus remaining true to Special Relativity. I explore ways for which light-speed and ever so slightly superluminal travel can open up untold additional realms for our civilization to explore and develop. Accordingly, I argue how and why light-speed and slightly faster than light speed can enable missions and travel in way perhaps far more exotic than conjectural methods such as wormhole transport, warp drive, and the like.

About the Author

I have been a free-lance theoretician and writer in the subject of relativistic spacecraft propulsion for about one decade. I have always since my pre-kindergarten days been intrigued by the stars and the Moon. Back in the late 60’s and early 70’s when the Apollo Program was underway, it seemed as though by the early 1980’s we would be sending folks to Mars. After the mid-70’s, my interest in space travel waned until about the late 90’s, at which point I read a book on interstellar travel methods based on real science. A relatively new focus of mine is light-speed travel and travel at vanishingly small increments beyond the speed of light but which are so small that non-locality and causality issues are avoided thus remaining true to Special Relativity. This is the subject of this book.
