The Encyclopedia of the Transcending Sapiens is a journey through the human mind as it is, the forces that condition it, and the possibilities that may carry it beyond its present limits. Moving through satire, psychology, history, social criticism and constructive speculation, Benjamin Katz asks a disturbing question: what if Homo sapiens is not a finished psychological form?
The book begins with the captive human—distracted by status, outrage, tribalism, grievance, noise and inherited programming. It then turns to the conditioned human, examining a civilization that repairs psychological wounds while continuously manufacturing new ones through attention capture, manipulation, consumerism and technological overstimulation. From there, the argument enters the battlefield inside the human skull: intelligence against wisdom, appetite against foresight, conformity against autonomy, display against contribution.
The final movement is upward. Katz proposes a Staircase of Human Development leading from survival and belonging toward autonomy, building, conscious evolution and creation. At its horizon stands the Transcending Sapiens: a human being increasingly able to recognize programming before obeying it, learn from consequences, correct course, cooperate with artificial intelligence without surrendering judgment, and consciously contribute to the future of life. This encyclopedia is not prophecy. It is an invitation to development before time runs.
