Words of Times Past

About the Book

Poetry is an expression of the experiences in our lives. It tells stories of our hopes and dreams, our failures and our fears. Words of Times Past, is a compilation of some of my favorite writings chosen from my previously published works: Poetry To Stir The Soul, Whispers Of Faith and Light from Above. The spectrum of stories in these poems, examines a variety of experiences that may be relevant for each of us; from our trials and disappointments to love and from the right now to eternity.

About the Author

Marilyn D. Donahue is the third eldest of seven siblings. She grew up in Houston, Texas, where her talents were discovered at an early age. She has been performing since Elementary school and writing since Junior high school. Growing up in church has given her the spiritual foundation that now fills her life. In addition to her writing, she is active in her church with the benevolence ministry and the integration ministry. Marilyn is the author of several inspirational poetry books: Poetry To Stir The Soul; Whispers Of Faith; Light From Above; Words Of Times Past and Reflections from Within.
