Reflections From Within

About the Book

“Reflections From Within” is a culmination of contemplative poems written from my perspective on the things that we go through in life and the thoughts of eternity on the other side. Included are thought provoking scriptures and aphorisms, which are meant to create a sense of introspective reflection of the heart. Each day, we experience events. The feelings and remnants of those events leave a lasting impression within our minds and each impression becomes a part of the person we become. Our lives are a combination of our experiences, beliefs and various influences from our environment and culture.

About the Author

Marilyn D. Donahue is the third eldest of seven siblings. She grew up in Houston, Texas, where her talents were discovered at an early age. She has been performing since Elementary school and writing since Junior high school. Growing up in church has given her the spiritual foundation that now fills her life. In addition to her writing, she is active in her church with the benevolence ministry and the integration ministry. Marilyn is the author of several inspirational poetry books: Poetry To Stir The Soul; Whispers Of Faith; Light From Above; Words Of Times Past and Reflections from Within.
