About the Book

“On Wings of Grace” is a compilation of poems and thoughts that acknowledge some of the events currently happening in this world, my reflections about them and my perspectives of our mortal existence in this life. Since the very moment of our first breath at birth, we have lived in this world, in our bodies; it is the only life we know. Throughout our years of growth and experiences, there are things we have learned about ourselves and the environment around us. Each new thought or encounter we go through, builds upon lessons already learned. Our perspectives or interactions in any situation are usually determined by our individual knowledge of and or by realities of this physical world we live in. Then, in those times when things happen that we just cannot explain; we need to pause, be still and take a look at life through spiritual eyes…to find Grace.

About the Author

Marilyn, as a young child, has always performed in plays and programs for school and church. She has been writing poetry since Junior high school. Growing up in church, her life experiences, travel and creativity have become the foundation for her Inspirational writings. Some of her works are published in several national Anthologies. Marilyn is the author of nine other published volumes of Inspirational poetry: “Poetry to Stir the Soul”, “Whispers of Faith”, “Light from Above”, “Words of Times Past”, “Reflections from Within”, “Poetic Moments in Time”, “My Poetic Journey Home”, “Poetic Praise on Bended Knees” and “Secured by Grace…Sustained by Faith”.
